Thomas Simpson

Tom is a Partner and leads our Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. Tom was admitted as a solicitor in 1978 and holds a Law Degree from University College Dublin. He also holds post graduate Diplomas in Arbitration, in Employment Law and in Commercial Litigation. He joined the firm as a partner in 1992 and practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, arbitration and general and credit insurance litigation.

Tom advises and represents clients in all aspects of commercial litigation with a particular emphasis on product liability, credit insurance, judicial review, injunctive relief proceedings, insurance defence work, debt recovery and enforcement, professional negligence and proceedings for breach of contract. He has extensive experience in proceedings in the Commercial Court.

Tom is actively involved in the area of Alternative Dispute Resolution and, in particular, commercial mediation and arbitration.

Tom is a member of various associations including the Commercial Litigation Association of Ireland, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the IBA.
